| Lincoln University’s Arts Centre and the Barbican Creative Hub, have recently been awarded Arts Council Funding for Lincolnshire. Their Arts Council Funded initiative is still in its early stages and the University has just appointed the lead coordinator for the project. In the next 6 months they will be hosting a creative careers day in a venue across the county (yet to be decided) and recruiting 5 apprentices, who will all be hosted in arts organisations across the county. In addition they will be hosting a creative careers summit, which will be preceded by a series of closed door policy influencing events with MPs, councillors and the Greater Lincolnshire Combined Authoity. They will also launch a formal mentor scheme. For more details on all the events and opportunities the University has to offer via its Barbican Creative Hub, please visit https://www.barbicancreativehub.com/ Keep your eyes peeled for updates on what Creative Lincs involvement could be in future newsletters! |
