The Usher Gallery is one of the region’s premier art galleries. It opened in 1927 displaying art from James Usher’s extensive collection. It has continued to grow and you can now view work by celebrated artists including Turner, Constable, Lowry and Grayson Perry.

IncLLinC Gallery and Studio is the latest addition to Lincoln’s growing art scene. It specialises in works by emerging artists alongside works by artists who face significant barriers to entering the main stream art world.

A fabulous jewel in Lincoln’s Medieval crown, the Gallery is housed in a half timbered Grade II listed building.
It is run by a diverse group of artists and makers who are responsible for the staffing and daily functioning of the Gallery and help to promote the arts throughout the region by featuring contemporary art, jewellery, and unique handcrafted work in a wide range of materials.

Based in Sleaford, the Carre Gallery is a splendid venue for two dimensional art. It was opened in 2010 as a result of collaboration between a local businessman and the late Windham Hime, a professional artist and photographer. It is now operated by the Sleaford Gallery Arts Trust, a registered charity. Everyone involved in the gallery’s operation and management is a volunteer.
